Depending upon your growing intentions, ventilation is a major player in a successful greenhouse experience.
Too much ventilation does not necessarily guarantee high quality results, whereas, too little can often be disastrous. A greenhouse and its contents need the ability to breathe, not only for the influx of oxygen for plants to grow and develop, but also to draw in cool air to assist in temperature control.
Automation of both roof and louvre vents are an excellent and hugely popular choice with customers. Offering peace of mind when you are out at work or on holiday, ventilation is provided automatically via a solar powered wax cylinder which opens or closes the vent when the temperature inside the greenhouse reaches a certain level.

Ventilation Constraints
When considering louvre vents before the greenhouse is ordered please state position of vent, either side or rear, otherwise Elite will assume position.
If you are fitting additional ventilation, whether it be roof or side, to an existing Elite building, it is no problem if you already have overlapping glass as both the roof and side vents replace the 4sq ft glass pane.
If you have full sheet toughened glass/polycarbonate, it can not be cut for that panel, so an order for the vent and additional replacement panes of glass needs to be ordered.

5 BLADE LOUVRE VENT
Humid and stagnant air can cause condensation and develop disease and mould in plants. By adding a 5 blade louvre on the side or rear of your building, fresh air is drawn in and encouraged to circulate from different levels.
Blade options: (1) Toughened glass, (2) Polycarbonate blades, (3) Aluminium blades (powder coating option)
